the Quesnel Museum
The
museum is conveniently located within steps of the City's center and all
visitor services are close at hand. Hotels, motels, camping, restaurants
and shopping are all within walking distance of the museum.
The Quesnel Museum, open year round, is noted for its interesting artifacts,
exciting displays and helpful, courteous staff and volunteers. Please
continue your trip into our exciting past!
The
Quesnel Museum is situated on the Cariboo Gold Rush Trail (Highway 97)
in LeBourdais Park at the south entrance to Quesnel's city center, across
from the BC Rail Station.
Services include tours, school and public interest programs, research
facilities, videos, photograph lab, and a gift shop with a selection of
local historical reference books.
Hours
of Operation
The Museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended hours until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Winter
Hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday from the
first Tuesday in September to the last Saturday in April
