About the Quesnel & District Museum and Archives
Museum and Heritage Commission
A Commission, consisting of a member of City Council, a member of the Cariboo Regional District appointed through the CRD, and 8 members at large appointed by Council was created to advise Council on matters relating to Museum policy and operations, to promote the Museum and its programs, and to provide support to staff in the day to day management of the museum facility and its activities. The Commission also advises the City with regard to Heritage issues in the community. Members are appointed for a two year term.

Responsible for maintaining the collection records, assists with research requests.

Provides vacation relief, assists with education programs and special projects.
Museum Assistants Contact
The museum usually creates two or more positions for students who work from mid May to September. They assist with day to day operations and special projects.
