William Lyne Sr.

Lyne, who had for many years been a partner of William Pinchbeck of Williams Lake, was married for a 2nd time to Mary Collingsworth, in 1887. The following year he severed his dealings with Pinchbeck and moved to Ashcroft, where he first invested in the Ashcroft Hotel, and then became the owner. He died suddenly in 1903. (Colonial Corresp.
