Planning A Visit
The Quesnel and District Musuem at 705 Carson Ave shares a facility with the Quesnel Visitor Center on Highway 97 at the south entrance to Quesnel's City Centre. We are located in beautiful Lebourdais Park which features a picnic area, an award winning rose garden, children's play area and spray park. We are located directly across the highway from the BC Rail Station. The museum is wheel chair accessible with all exhibits and services on ground level. We provide convenient parking, rest rooms and a wireless hot spot.
For over 100 years the people of Quesnel have gathered at Lebourdais Park for community celebrations and recreation: from sports days, horse races and the Willingdon Links golf course in the early twentieth century, through the stock car races in the 1950s to the many festivals of the present day. Aboriginal Day, Billy Barker Days, Canada Day, Family Day, and the Relay for Life are just a few of the special events which are held in the Park each year
